GOGO & GEORGE
"When he stepped into the room I said to myself: that will be my husband."
Half the world were their friends, from Otto von Habsburg to Charlie Chaplin. The whole world was their home, from
New York to Beyrouth. This is a film about the extraordinary love affair of Ilona Dőry and George Kovách. Hungary
owes much to George Kovách, the Hungarian-born American colonel. As the leader of the American military
mission in Hungary he brought home to Budapest The Holy Right Hand of King Saint Stephen in 1945.
